special thanks to Demise...(he probably doesnt remember, but i asked him a few questions and your answers helped me a lot,)
so they just walked us into the interview room, they made us swear under oath that we were going to tell the truth.
Right off the bat, the IO asked my wife why she hadnt file AOS for me if we had been married for 7 years, And of course that threw my wife off , but she told the IO that there was no way for me to adjust. Then she told me , oh i see, you got Advance Parole, so she asked me why hadnt' applied for AP earlier since i had DACA since 2012 and i told her, that there was no need for me at that moment to request AP.
So then she just went down the application asking the basic questions, name, DOB,
She asked me all those crazy questions that your suppose to answer no to...(Trafficking, drugs, gangs, Terrorists , etc)
I did answer that i had been arrested, so of course she asked me for what, and i presented her all the legal docs, and since it was a juvenile offense, she didnt make a deal out of it but she did request to see the original deposition.
She went through the medical exam, she didnt ask questions, she went through the sponsor app, which we made enough money to sponsor ourselves, and she said im glad you been payin taxes for so long, (im assuming other people dont)
Then thats it, she did not look at the pics, nor all the evidence i took, which it wasn't a lot.
She said, ok im going to approve your app, i know its not a lie and your marriage is legit, you will receive your card in 4 to 6 weeks
Like i said i was not nervous because it was not fake, i knew that i was going to walk in there and get approved, i knew she would go into detail about my arrest, i was concerned if she would of asked me about past employment, prior DACA, because off course we all know why i was scared, but she didnt touch on that subject at all.
