Both grandparents are getting older and I would hate for the unthinkable to happen without me getting to see them one last time. Ive been hearing positive results the whole entire time I have been subscribed, but I would love to hear more feedback on how you guys applied. Did you guys do it on your own, what kind of documents did you guys use for humanitarian reasons? I just need more information on that coming from you guys. I greatly appreciate it!!

I did both of my applications my own, one for school and another for my wife's grandmothers illness. The school one got approved but I wasn't able to go because I got denied my visa to Canada. The second one got denied as she had diabetes and they said it was not "emergent". I've heard is easier to get approved if it's your own family member. It all depends on what illness your grandparents have. I wouldn't use an attorney for my first time applying, but in my case (3rd time applying) I'll be using one.
