Hey guys,
as many of you I'm a bit nervous about our immediate future. USC gf and I have been together for a long time and we've talking about getting married next summer/fall but with the election results we are going to do it sooner. Early January most likely.

AOS via marriage is a bit complicated for me as I'm EWI. I thought about it clearing it last year via AP but during my research process I found out I have a deportation order from a court case we didn't go to in 2000, I was 12 at the time.


My plan is the following:
1. Close removal proceedings > I retained an attorney yesterday to do this. Attorney said there are options and we will go through all of them but first have to obtain my case files. Takes ~2 months.
2. Travel with AP to clear EWI. This is dependent upon still having DACA sometime in Spring 2017.
3. AOS via USC Wife

Has any of you been able to AOS with a similar situation? Or are you in the process?
