I saw a therapist years ago, she was more of a family friend. It was before DACA and I was fighting my mom a lot because I blamed it all on her. The therapist gave us some advice but didn't solve anything.
You should be thankful you at least have DACA. It's not that bad.
I've been depressed for a long time (not about being illegal), it comes and goes. What helps me is lifting weights. It's something I have full control over, and gives me a goal to work towards, and motivates me to not drink too much. And let's me eat huge amounts of food!
So i suggest you find a passion and stop feeling ashamed of being illegal. Shit, i went through a herpes scare earlier this year and i thought my life was over (I'm clean, got tested, false alarm). So if it helps, think of all the people with terminal diseases (i hope you don't have one) and how being illegal is just temporary.
