First of all, Congrats. You are indeed an accomplished individual. And definitely, you should never look for any salary less than what you're getting currently. I've worked in Public Accounting, but only small individually owned CPA firms, no big 4 experience. I certainly think you should explore into regional/big 4 firms and you will definitely be eligible for upwards of 65K since you're not entry level any more. You're a damn CPA! That is big news. And obviously, I don't have to tell you but in those big public accounting firms, the hours are long and crazy but hey if you're a young guy, you'll enjoy it. Also, if it interest you, you can look into state government jobs. They are great!
