The fateful day has come, boys and girls. There's been a lot of talk about whether or not he'll carry out his promise and cancel Obama's executive orders, specifically DACA, within his first 24 hrs of office or even the first few days.

I don't think he will. But then again no one knows for sure what the hell he'll do. There's been nothing but ambiguity on the issue since he got elected. All we can do is what we've been doing; just wait and see.

Anyway, as I watch his inaugural speech, cringing, I can't help but worry. Not necessarily as an illegal immigrant clenching on to the hope that the life I've built under DACA will not be swiftly stripped, but as an American worried about the direction this man will drive our nation.

I really hope he proves me and all his doubters wrong. I really do. But I just don't know.....
