Well,
Just applied to PhD programs this winter... hoping I get in so I can start this fall. For the last two years I've been working towards by Master's and I needed to show proof of EAD for that (research assistantship). For doctorate degrees however, more and more schools are getting familiar with DACA and are willing to offer fellowship and funding for students. I believe Cornell just announced that even if EADs were rescinded, any fellowship/commitments made upon acceptance offer will be honored through other means of financial assistance. I'm hoping it works out. Can't start a 5 year program just to have to leave in the middle due to EAD issues.
