I have heard different information. So I will definitely have to consult with a lawyer. I heard some cleared their EWI with AP, which I was planning on doing next year, just in case I was not qualified for the waiver

, guess that's out the window now.
I personally know 2 ppl that had to leave to Mexico, one came back in within days, the other one took about 8 months! So it might be a case by case basis.
I have 2 USC children, but from what I heard, even that wont help me qualify for the waiver since their father is fully supported by them, it must be an extreme hardship, whatever that means.
Best of luck to us, but I would consult a lawyer since we're EWI, might get costly but every penny is worth our freedom here.
