I'm going through a mortgage atm, I put that I was not a citizen nor a permanent citizen. I told the bank about my situation, but they seem not to care. Instead, they were more concern about the age of my credit (less than 1 year), but it seemed not to be an issue since I had provided 3 years of tax return fillings.

As for the car loan, I had a friend co-sign with me back in December, I put the same thing, not a citizen nor permanent resident. The interest rate was 4.6%, I had no credit score at the time.
