My questions is, can anyone point me to a reputable organization's website where they are recommending to send in your application? I'm just extremely nervous to do this, especially after reading that page I mentioned: https://www.nilc.org/issues/daca/
Unless you've recently had contact with the police or a criminal record before applying to DACA, there is no harm in renewing. The worst that can happen is losing $495. They already have our information so if they are going to use it against us they will even if we don't try renewing.

The reason NILC and other organizations often say to first contact a lawyer is they don't know your individual situation so it's better for them to to be cautious with their advice. Someone who was recently arrested or has an expunged DUI - should contact a lawyer before renewing.

Ultimately the decision is up to you.
