2000- I was a freshmen in high school and had a huge crush on a junior, a Freddie Prinze Jr look a like. He only dated white cheerleaders. He was out of my league.
My platonic crush for him fizzled when I later met the guy from the previous post.

2003- I was still in high school, the guy from previous post had already moved to CA. I got my first job at a restaurant. On my first day of work, I found out that my former crush, Freddie Prinze Jr look a like was now my coworker.

We got along well at work, he was dating someone, but occasionally flirted in a playful innocent way. Like walking by me and pinching or poking my side.
Since he had a girlfriend and he was very cute and popular, I sometimes thought he was only trying to hold a carrot in front of me, so I didn't think much of his flirting.
Once day, to my surprise, he told me that he had feelings for me back in the day and was getting the courage to ask me out but he had heard that I was dating the guy from the previous post. In his words, since they were cool with each other, he decided to back off.
Again, he had a girlfriend at the time, so nothing came out of that conversation. I was surprised, I was even mildly heartbroken when I had to come to terms with the fact that he was out of my league. Haha.

Shortly after, he moved to CA. To help his brother run a business.
A few years later, he was in town visiting family and stopped by at the store where I worked. He purchased some stuff, made small talk and then asked if I was married. I replied " No, and you?"
He replied, " No, still waiting for you."

I smiled/ laughed a bit at his joke. And that was it.
I haven't seen him since.
