September 2018 and early 2019 will be a big year for daca. Trump threatened to shutdown the government in September if his wall is not funded. If democrats can retake the house, it will be time for them make good on their promises. Not to mention the supreme court will also weigh in later this year or next year.

These GOP AGs asked Federal judge to issue preliminary injunction to stop USCIS approving any permit in the future , so I guess all renewal applications will probably be denied ( unless it’s already approved before issuing date of such injunction if it happens). We just don’t know how this is going to end
