This shutdown is headed for a long stretch. People WILL be affected by this shutdown unlike the previous one where it only lasted 2 days before Dems caved. It would be bad optics if word gets out that Dems are asking for DACA in order to end the shutdown, that's why they caved so easily the last shutdown before anyone could be affected.
