There has been a huge spike of visa denial for people with an approved waiver. Before you leave the country, make sure you have good proof that you will not become a "public charge" in the U.S.
The man in the article has an approved I-601A but was denied a visa because the officer thinks he will be a drain on the system and now he is stuck in Mexico. He has 5 children on Medicaid and only can show a promise of an $18/hr job once he returns to the U.S.
