Yes, that's how life works. So we will have to settle with COVID-19 recovery and live with DACA forever...I say start working on getting with a U.S. citizen/GC holder girl/guy in order to legalize.
Don't believe in the "first 100 days" type of promises. I have seen them in pretty much every election campaign for the past 20 years.
