yep! and the VAWA application has no cost, once youre approve for it you can apply for AOS, or you can file both at the same time it just depends if your abuser was a USC or not.

Uvisa the abuser can be anyone regardless of their status, but you have to have reported it to the police and helped in the investigation of the offense (it has to be a serious offense too not just simple assault), the approval for a Uvisa is about 4 years, and all you get is a work permit valid for 4 years. On your 3rd year of having it then you can apply for AOS.
