It was not brought to the supreme court bases on the legality of daca but on trumps ability to end it. The Texas case is different, they are questioning where daca is legal or not, a big difference to the supreme court and the way they make their decision. The SC did us a solid their by only looking at the very narrow question of trumps ability to end daca. The question of the legality of daca is a whole different issue and they would most likely rule that daca is illegal as a program.
