The issue here has always been whether the parliamentarian will agree to allow immigration related subjects onto the reconciliation bill - that’s it. Don’t pay attention to the theater and don’t feed into it.

I only hope so. Both can pass. Both may fail. Either can pass. I don’t trust Schumer to commit to both, especially if a deal is reached on the bipartisan version. Biden and Pelosi aren’t in the Senate.
That and whether all Dems will vote for Reconciliation version. It’s also my understanding that Manchin will consider reconciliation if bipartisan talks fail.
