I was very much embarrassed by my status for a very long time, even after I became USC. My last serious gf's parent cannot accept the fact that their daughter was dating some who used to be a dirty immigrant. So that didnt end well. I mean I was kinda wrong for hiding my shit because of my own insecurities.
I learned my lesson so when I met my wife I poured everything out on the first date. I used to tell people riding a motorcycle is the purest form of freedom anyone will ever enjoy, but I was wrong. It will be the most satisfying and terrifying thing you will ever do in one conversation. Don't wait homie, live your best life.
