But you're right, he didnt heavily campaign ending DACA like he did in 2016-2017 and his recent comments after he got elected kinda calmed my nerves. I dont think legalization is in our immediate future but I do think the program will be left alone for CURRENT AND RENEWALS only. I think the 5th circuit wont completely scrap the program and will leave it to current beneficiaries.

But I could be dead wrong in the end... who knows.

I have been feeling disappointed with them for quite some time. When Chuck Schumer made the statement "Dreamers can't occupy the stage," it became clear to me that we were not going to be a priority for them. It seems that they only reach out to us during election season.

I do agree that having them in the majority doesn't necessarily mean they are on our side. The main reason I believe they will regain control of the House in two years is due to the division within the Republican Party in Congress. Americans are likely to notice this and may seek a change.
