2. Yeah, democrats are fucking spineless and wasted too much capital on fighting Trump's inflation (and really suck at messaging, everything related to the prices should be "Well, the previous asshole printed trillions of dollars after killing off millions with his idiocy".)
Still, I will maintain that DACA just existing with all of its caveats (2 year renewals, needing to make up a reason for international travel, etc) beats out the alternative. The republican alternative isn't "give us all the money in the world for walls at the borders in exchange for the dream act", republican alternative is "deport them all". Now, I doubt many of you will get actually put on a plane and sent back, instead what you'll see is just making your lives get more miserable: No more EADs so you're back to either working under the table or with fake documents, and no more driver's licenses. For the states that offer them they'll likely just force them to use the Real ID versions for federal purposes.
So ya know, strap in and lube up.
