I definitely think that each 10 year period should check for your criminal record and so long as you aren't a repeat offender and you show a pattern of good behavior you should be fine. Very very unfortunate, saw another case where someone accidentally voted while being a green card holder and ended up in deportation proceedings back to Peru after decades of being a permanent resident. I guess make sure you know what you are allowed to do at all times?
Bruh some ppl are flat out stupid.

How do you accidentally vote?! You have to register to vote in your electoral precinct, you gotta go to a voting booth , etc.
It's a whole process.
How can you not stop yourself in the middle of this process and think "I has greencarr, I no American. I no vote?!"

I could see the scenario of a young Dreamer who's been lied to and gaslighted of his status by his family and doing that... but otherwise, it's an improbable situation
