Whatever you do, I think most people should probably go your route because most college degrees aren't worth the cost to obtain them and they'd be better served with a cheap 2 year associates degree or on the job training like they used to do back in the day. Back when corporate America actually cared about their employees. This was probably the start of the end of American industrial dominance. Back when corporations used to think of their employees as positive assets to grow and develop cost efficiencies from skill. Instead of now where employees as seen as a cost and need to be reduced as much as possible to try to obtain efficiencies from overworking people.

Jack Welch was the inventor of a lot of these horrendous ideas, he and the consultant companies that come in to destroy a company and take the blame for difficult/terrible decisions.

Especially the MBA, how about you just start a business?
