ok. let's see if i can answer some of the unanswered questions.

-there are exceptions to the 10yr ban. if leaving the county causes great harm to a US citizen, then I think they let you get off on that. but it's really, really hard to make the case for it. Leaving a kid alone here isn't good enough.

-As i understand it, if you leave this country before you turn 19, there's no 10 yr ban, it's only 3.

-I believe the oldest person here (and in our status) is lutier and he was 28 when they voted. he might be 29 now. I'm starting to get worried about him cause I haven't seen him post in a while.
