I wrongfully (according to me) got a 4 on both AP english exams, despite having pretty crappy teachers.
For literature, just familiarize yourself with the classic novels that you guys read in class.
Know them well. Understand them. Learn to compare and contrast them.

When attempting to answer the prompt, make sure to understand it completely first. When evaluating a piece of literature, be sure to discuss specific rhetorical devices etc. etc.
Don't ramble or b.s. That just wastes your time, and you won't get any points.
You're probably going to have to compare and contrast some b.s. poems.
Simply, do just that. Compare...and Contrast.
There will likely be one essay where you have to draw upon a piece of literature to answer the question.

If my memory serves, it was REALLY easy. Merely reading passages, and the comprehending them.

Overall...just relax. It's just a test. Nothing will happen if you fail - - well, you won't get a piece of paper award stating that you passed all your exams in about 3 months. lol. big whoop.
