Sorry to bump an old old thread but I have a question. Sorry if there is a thread similar to this.

Has anyone flown domestically with only a valid Driver's license? I know that's allowed but I was wondering if anyone in our situation (DACA situation) has travel domestically with just a driver's license instead of passport. You see, I can't renew my passport so wondering if taking domestic flights with just a driver's license is still safe and hassle-free for us.

Also, does anyone living in NYC know if JFK or Laguardia is more convenient?

Thanks to anyone who can answer these questions.
Yes many times. You are fine, this is what most people carry when they fly. Not many Americans have a valid passport.
