Which proof of residency do they ask for in Washington?
I thought TX DL is good for 6 years?
What do you mean DPS is under state gov't?

I know this is wrong, but I tried to get Washington DL 4 times before but they didn't accept me because of lack of documentation and proof of residency in Washington.
My DL is only good for 1 year, and when they checked my document at Texas DPS, they got it finger printed and scanned my documents.
I know DPS is under state government and IF they had an data access to DHS or USCIS, they would have denied me at first.
I know this is wrong, but if I apply for Deferred Action, they will go through my background checks, biometric checks and everything. I don't know if I'll be safe from that.
I am going to meet with several immigration lawyers about this before I apply for DA.
Please help.
Any comment would be deeply appreciated.
Thanks.
