That means the PD does not matter. The file date does and then you have to wait few months to actually get approved and get the GC.

Well priority date matters the most since that's when you can get a green card only after that day but this can help speed things up a little since without it, you'd have to wait until the PD to get the ball rolling which would delay getting a work permit and such.

Mid-40's dreamer (yeah, time flies), aged out of original DACA and didn't have a chance to apply for extended DACA after Republicans killed it on the vine.
