Does anyone have any contacts at the Vermont Service Center and has heard about why its taking THIS center so much longer than the rest to process Deferred Action applications? I wonder if Sandy hit this center very hard or if its just that we are not a "priority."

Yeah, Most of us are within those bounds. I don't really think about it. They deal with thousands of apps. And all of the other centers are adjudicating at the same rate.
Actually I think it's going pretty well. They said it would take between 4-6 Months, but they were able to adjudicate much quickly and the numbers that are applying now is decreasing.
