I have been driving since I was 20, but try to avoid it whenever possible. In fact in the past year and a half that I have been driving, I doubt I have driven more then a hundred miles. I know that in Florida if you get pulled over the send you to court and if you do not have your license by then and are undocumented they start deportation procedures. I do not know about the state where I currently drive, Illinois, but its the suburbs, they are very simple rural like roads, nothing very crazy, so its easy.
