My mom adjusted via 245i from my USC sister, she got an EAD in 3 months.

Just to clarify, if I only qualify for an EAD as a IR, how long is my wait time for residency approval?

I don't think I can get an employer to sponsor me.
F2B for Mexico is 20 years, F1 for Mexico is also 20 years. You can't get an EAD until you're eligible to file for AOS, and you won't be eligible to file for AOS until the priority date becomes current (in about 20 years).
