Well, I guess at this stage in my life I consider myself a DREAM Act student that does not have any other options left, so I am seriously trying to think of a civil way to be put in removal proceedings. If I can somehow make sure that my immediate family will not also be placed at risk of deportation, I will not hesitate to subject myself to arrest and court proceedings if the only 2 outcomes are a) I get deported or b) I get deferred action and stay in limbo for a year or so but with a DL and an EAD. And who knows, in that time with those 2 documents I might even get married.
