I have a Captial One and a Platinum Bofa Visa card.

The way I started was to sign up for the secured credit card with Bofa ($500) of your own money. After a year, they send you a check for your ($500) and convert it to a non-secured card. The downside about this is the 50$ a year fee, but it's worth it.

When you buy stuff, make sure you pay off the FULL BALANCE. Never pay the interest. Don't believe people when they say you need to do payments to build credit, it's not true. Always pay the full balance.

I now have a 720 credit score which is fairly good and ive had credit cards for 2 years only, have always paid in full and never had a late payment. I can't stress enough, pay in full. If you won't be to pay it in full, don't use it so much.
Very informative brah, Appreciate it . I paid BoA $100 for a $500 secured card. I hope I could build my credit before it's time to buy a new car
