My family's hearing in Denver got Canceled because of the new policy and the review of cases in Removal Proceedings. I thought I would post this to share my journey as this process takes place and hope it helps or answers some questions. Because honestly i think this new policy screwed up our case.

Summary of the case

• Dec. 7th final hearing in immigration removal proceeding canceled
  (for I-485 approval)
  
  Received e-mail from lawyer stating that USCIS won't start rescheduling cases till 2014
  
  E-mail from lawyer stating that we will be able to file for a motion to advance court date (really hard to achive, but my lawyer has conncetions and it looks like we might be able to get an earlier hearing) We won't know till Jan. 2012.
  
  Applied for work premit on Oct. 28 2011 i'm still waiting to get it
  

I think that this new policy screwed up our case because our hearing to get our Resident Card Aprroved was just two weeks before we found out that the hearing was canceled. Now who knows whats going to happen. We have to wait and wait and wait...
