The number i use to claim lists "NOT VALID FOR WORK" stamp on it. But its legit.
But it has been used in the past for me to claim me on my fathers taxes when i was younger.
It's work'd in the past but i am wondering if I should reconsider it.

Well I think you should reconsider it just because of the fact that you can get unwanted attention from USCIS/ICE. If you are saying that it worked in the past then maybe you can use it again i would just be careful.
