i live in WA (been living for 7 yrs) and I was gonna wait till i get a SSN and work permit to get a driver license becuz the process wud be a lot easier but i got a little impatient and I decided to get one today. I went to a driver licensing department thats around my house and I told the guy that I don't have SSN and they said i need to give them 4 proofs for my id. I handed the guy my passport and hs transcript and yr book and this is wut he said " U are over 18 yrs old and u are required to have ssn in order to make a driver license" ...................

Has the the law in WA state been changed?
