I had my interview today. I did not use a lawyer. The whole process took approximately 10 months for me. The interview was pretty straight forward. The officer asked general questions about the applications ( name, address, citizenship, work, etc.). He then began what he called " story time" wanting me ( the applicant) to answer all the questions regarding our relationship ( how did you meet, dates, when/where we got married, who attended, etc.). He told us he did not see a reason to not approve us today and to expect to have the green card in 4 weeks. Overall, the interview was easy and only lasted 20 minutes. Do not overthink it and you should be fine. I want to thank everyone on this forum for helping me out with the application process.
