These people are clueless. Why do they want to come here now? Asylum isn't going to work. It's harder than ever to get a case to even go to court. So are they dreaming of being illegals and treated like shit here?

In the 80's it was a completely different landscape so you could fly under the radar, there was an amnesty, and you more or less lived a human life. These people have the benefit of having observed how bad life is here and how much worse it's getting and they're still coming? I can't feel too badly for them.

They're just going to be used as an excuse to screw us over.

Mid-40's dreamer (yeah, time flies), aged out of original DACA and didn't have a chance to apply for extended DACA after Republicans killed it on the vine. Have family petition that is now officially current but with past skeletons, is risky to move forward with AOS. Life is on hold for now until laws and/or government becomes more friendly. Life kind of sucks at the moment but like Al Bundy and the mighty cockroach, I survive.
