I think it's well known that we do not have to hire an attorney to fill these or any other applications, but for one reason or another, we need to be reassured and an attorney gives us that relief (hopefully).

I got an attorney because I had a criminal case, and the attorney was also in the DOJ website (hope that's a good thing). I felt they knew what USCIS looks at, so I'm sure I got most of my bases covered.

Attorney's Fee: $500 (half when they send the app, half when you get the biometrics letter)
State: TX
Case Status: Biometrics done (today), case pending
