You are in a tough spot. What I would try to do if I were you is pro-actively move to your home country. What I mean by that is, TOP resorts in the world must have a global presence, so keep an eye out for an opening.
Of course that would mean that if we do get legalized at some point, you'd probably be left out.
Another thing you could do is branch into other types of management that might be more marketable. Or maybe get certified? Having that piece of paper that says you went to school for something, as worthless as it actually is in reality, might give you a leg up when job shopping.
