This is a perfect analogy. It really is a suffocating/drowning feeling being without any type of status and watching all your peers and friends living their life. Honestly, my lack of status lead me to some dark/suicidal thoughts.

I've also noticed the ones on this forum with the "I'm smarter than you, kill DACA now" attitude are the younger crowd who enjoyed all the benefits of DACA without any of the heartache.

I'm old enough to remember my parents marching in the streets with thousands in the mid-2000's for comprehensive immigration reform, when states started cracking down on immigrants with things like E-Verify and SB1070, and I watched the failed vote in the Senate live on the Saturday morning in December 2010. After all that I can tell you that I have no faith in these politicians doing the right thing.
