I called the uscis customer number it's on the uscis website. The ombudsman representative was the one who told me I should call and ask to have my case expedited and I just told them bc of extreme financial loss to myself as the reason bc they just have a few reasons why you can ask to have your case expedited.. I spoke to a regular uscis representative she was very kind. I think it's best to try and do all you can to see if you can speed up your application. At least you can say you are trying as much as you can! Even if I dont get my case expedited at least I tried. Makes the wait feel less stressful
