I-601As honestly aren't that hard. You can DIY them, as I noted in my above post what the agents want, and the important thing being that you control the narrative. They won't call you in and ask about everything for an I-601A, it will be an administrative process:

I-601A received
biometrics taken
(whole lot of nothing which may include an RFE but it is unlikely)
Decision Issued (approval or denial), and you proceed from there.

This is the complete opposite as when it comes to I-485 where they will call you in, and ask questions about your taxes, and ask questions you might not even be prepared to answer.
