So here's the response I received from USCIS after emailing them:

Our records indicate that you submitted your request for renewal between February 14 and May 14, 2016. Requests submitted during this timeframe may have taken longer than expected. You should receive further communication on your case within the next few weeks. USCIS is dedicated to restoring normal processing times as quickly as possible.
