That's a little harsh. I think those who hired lawyers were mostly not informed very well and felt very scared. Can't blame them. At that time there was very little information available. But in slightly complicated cases, I'm sure the lawyer would've been the best choice. I wouldn't start calling people loaded. Most of us are in the same boat economically more or less. If you really dont know what you're doing, might as well hire a professional do it for you. Nothing wrong with that. But yeah paying more than $500 is not right.
