I remember when I applied last year that, if I wanted a fee waiver, I would have to get it from my community college's counseling office. I don't remember the reason but I never went to the office but there was also an option to request a fee waiver directly from [email protected] if you did not have time to get it in person. There are certain income requisites to qualify for the waiver, too.

In the email, state:

Full name:
Address:
Application ID#:

[State that you're applying through email due to time constraints, and explain why you qualify for a fee waiver: income, family size, etc]


I did not state my legal status in the email I sent for obvious reasons.
