Giving credit where its due to certain forum creeps, but the wall is actually good. Too many bad hombres keep sneaking in multiple times over and over and committing horrible crimes.

Some might answer and say, but (undocumented) immigrants do less crime than native born, that may be true, but then again, the undocumented arent supposed to be here.

Crime from undocumented is supposed to be zero.

The wall will help the republicans swallow the DACA amnesty pill much more easily, than just a clean DA or CIR. If you think back to Reagan years, the amnesty was bundled with border security and interior enforcement, but the border security package never materialized.

Simply put, any form of immigration relief MUST include a border wall to permanently solve the problem or Republicans will never ever ever vote for it, and bills will continuously die over this overlooked issue.

Every single republican bill about this issue has included border security along with relief for those inside who are otherwise law abiding. Civil violation not a criminal violation.

Every single democrat bill includes just plain DA. It is clear plain DA will never happen unless its bundled with border security.

Democrats have indeed put wall for Dreamers in the past, that is a known, but then DACA got saved and the deal was off. Why hand trump a win when you dont have to?

There is even internal squabbling over wether to give trump border security or a wall. Trump obviously wants to say he got a wall, dems only want to give him border security or a fence.

Wall sounds much more impressive than fence. Fence sounds weak.
