So far, I have emailed the director of the career center. If she says nothing can be done, I will go and talk to the President. You are right. I shouldn't go down without a fight.
When I went to the career center they told me I can't register because they were told so by the Department of Labor. If the president says 'tough luck,' then I will contact the Department of Labor to see if they can contact the University, and tell them of my true rights.
