I don't think this is the answer you guys are looking for but here it is anyways...

from my understanding - after doing extensive research and analyzing the Q&A session from USCIS last conference call...
once you have been granted deferred action you need to reopen your removal order case and then close it. You MUST get a lawyer for this and build a strong case. (most likely just having deferred action is not good enough because this is not legal status)

Some people are getting advance parole but I don't THINK we (already with removal order) should try it because of the huge risk attached. *ask lawyer who knows*

Also to MY belief you should not reopen your case unless you have a strong greencard outcome from another case because you only get to reopen once.
