That's me now, but back in high school I probably would've been diffident about it. What did you do?

It was a male teacher. The sad part about it was that I had been in his class for Art, AP Art, and Yearbook (he was advisor and I got to be editor). We worked together and were friends. Then one week before graduation I told three of my teachers, and he was one of them. I walked away, then avoided him during graduation. I never saw or talked to him again, even when I went back to visit my high school numerous times.
